Drywall Installation in San Antonio & the Hill Country

Sheetrock hung on walls and ceilings — two-story great rooms, curved walls, staircases, coffered and tray ceilings — in San Antonio and all around it.

San Antonio is growing fast on the far north and west sides and up the interstates, and every one of those new houses starts the same way once the frame is up: someone has to hang the sheetrock. That is the first call Juan gets on a new build, and after 12 years doing it around San Antonio and the Hill Country, he knows how a house should be boarded before the tape and mud ever go on. Straight seams, tight corners, and panels hung so the finisher behind him has a clean surface to work with — that is what makes the rest of the job go right.

Not every install is a simple box of a house. Some of the rooms in the photos on this site are full-height great rooms with ceilings that take real planning to reach and board safely, curved walls that follow a staircase instead of a straight line, and coffered or tray ceilings built up in sections rather than one flat plane. Remodels bring their own version of the same problem: walls come out for a new layout, and what goes back up has to tie into framing that was never meant to be touched again. Whether it is a new house going up in Boerne or Helotes or an addition in an older San Antonio neighborhood, Juan hangs it the same way — plumb, square, and ready for the next step. Every job, big or small, new construction or commercial space, starts with a no-obligation quote, not a sales pitch.

What's included

Installation starts with the framing already up and inspected. Juan measures and cuts sheetrock panels to fit walls and ceilings, then screws them to the studs and joists so the board sits flat and tight against the frame. Ceilings often go up before the wall panels, since a hung ceiling supports the wall panels that follow. Seams are staggered so joints do not stack on top of each other, and panels are cut around outlets, windows, and doorways as he goes. Curved walls, coffered ceilings, and staircases get measured and pieced together section by section instead of in single sheets. Once every panel is screwed down and checked for flat, square surfaces, the house is ready to hand off for taping and finishing.

How we work

Send a photo

Send Juan a photo of the framed walls or ceilings by WhatsApp so he can see the space before he ever drives out.

No-obligation quote

Juan looks at the space, asks what the project needs, and gives a no-obligation quote by WhatsApp at (210) 505-1842.

Hanging the sheetrock

Panels go up on the walls and ceilings, cut and fitted section by section on anything curved, coffered, or built up to full height.

Walk through

Juan walks the space with you once every panel is up, so you can see it hung before it moves on to finishing.

Drywall Installation by city

A builder's whole house in New Braunfels, a texture match in an older Alamo Heights home, a garage turned into a room in Schertz and a coffered ceiling in Boerne each need a different plan — and we handle all of them.

Common questions

Do you work on new construction and remodels?
Yes. Juan hangs sheetrock on new homes going up and on remodels where walls come out and go back in, in homes and commercial spaces.
Can you hang tall or full-height ceilings?
Yes. Some of the rooms in the photos on this site are full-height great rooms with tall ceilings, hung and boarded safely.
What about curved walls or a staircase?
Curved walls, staircases, and shaped ceilings like coffered or tray designs are measured and pieced together section by section.
Is installation the same as finishing?
No. Installation is hanging the panels on the walls and ceilings. Taping, mudding, and sanding to a smooth finish comes after, as a separate step.
